The first step in spiritual warfare is making sure we have the order correct. What we submit to will draw close to us. What we resist will flee. Ask the Holy Spirit to allow you to see who you are submitting to and who you are resisting.
James 4:7 NASB 20
Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
