Identity

Titles give identity. Identity is what the enemy looks for. He sends the attack to match the “identity.” We shouldn’t take on what we aren’t in titles. You’ve heard higher level, higher devil, but it’s more about an equal in “matching.” Spiritually it’s a matching attack of matching identity. When God titles you, you will be victorious in the attack. However, if you titled yourself you simply do not possess the equipping needed to win. This is one of the reasons Satan asked Jesus, “If you really are the Son of God…”
