When a Christian says that doing whatever it takes to reach someone is “selling out” it reveals deeper issues within that person. I believe the most obvious one is believing it’s about them at all. We don’t do this for personal gain we do this for the lost gaining Christ. We do this because no matter what the cost, we long for everyone to know the love of the Father revealed through His son Jesus! I am thankful for the “sellouts” in my life who reached me where I was when I needed them.
I encourage you today Christian to consider the condition of your heart, the depth of your pride, and the motivation of your work for Christ.
***The term “selling out” or “sold out” in the past tense, is a common expression for the compromising of a person’s integrity, morality, authenticity, or principles in exchange for personal gains, such as money.
