Submission

Submission in the Biblical sense is to choose to submit because you are giving to God out of a place of valuing Him over your will. There should always be a sense of knowing you are submitting, a feeling of choosing to stay who God made you but wanting to give Him areas of your life He has asked for. To become apathetic in order to submit, you will have lost the very power of submission. Jesus said if you can take this cup from me, but not my will, but your will be done (paraphrasing); as drops of blood flowed from His sweat glands, He demonstrated the very power of submission.
To still be the you God made but to choose to be the you He ask you to be.
