Fear is a spirit that God has not given you. You must fight against fear as a spiritual attack. Avoiding, ignoring, distracting yourself, rationalizing, etc may help in dealing with stress attacks but not the spirit of fear. We fight spiritual battles with spiritual weapons and learn how to resist the attacks of the enemy. A good way to start is by praying in the spirit. I encourage you to pray a minimum of 30 minutes a day in the spirit. Don’t get stuck on the time in prayer but discipline yourself to make time to pray in the Holy Spirit. He will strengthen you! As you build your spirit you will start to see victories over the attacks of the enemy!
